Friday morning and some students were preparing for an nerve racking show!

It was 10:45 sharp as everyone made their way to the hall getting ready for an exciting show. First Mr Coakley (our principal) had introduced our show and that we were having our very first talent show ever.

Our first performance was Angelica, Justice, Simone and Grace with a Hula dance. Our next performance was another Hula from Emelia and Robertanna e.t.c

Then it came up to the 5th performance. They were doing a mix dance and it was very entertaining . I reckon that it was the best out of all because it looked hard to learn in 1 week. Next up was A’leina and Sia performing a beautiful Samoan dance sung by “Nifoloa”.

“Sometimes in our lives..” I heard a lovely voice coming from the center of the stage it was Latai, Rachael and Hifo singing an emotional song ‘Lean on me’. It started off lovely but then it got really emotional for Latai because either she got stage fright or was just feeling emotional as she started to cry.

After that emotional performance I heard Mr Coakley say “Please welcome back up to the stage A’leina and Sia not dancing but singing...”
Clap, Clap, clap I heard coming from the audience.

“That was lovely I said to my classmates...”

“Please welcome Ofa, Kahlanie, Angelica and crew singing ‘Ehu Girl’

To finish off the lovely and entertaining Talent Show was the Year 8 girls singing ‘Draw Me Nearer’ sung by Jireh. My favourite part was the harminising, it sounded beautiful.

Now that was all for our very 1st talent show and it went very smoothly. Keep in touch for our next talent show

WELL DONE EVERYONE!!!!

My I like Poem

I like chocolate because its absolutely yummy.

I love my cousins Peter who is 21, Aaron who is 24, Leua who is 18, Sam who is 14, Natasha who is 21(twins with Peter) and my uncle Manu who is 18. They are very, very, very protective of me.

I admire my cousin Olalini because she is very healthy and is a very educational person. She is very sporty and a good role model.

I adore Dogs because they are very fun to play with. They are very brainy and in the past I've had 9 Dogs in my life. I will adore Dogs forever.

I favour my right hand because, it is my strongest hand and I write with it.

I am a very big fan of Michael Jackson and Justin Bieber. I wish to see them one day, but sadly Michael Jackson has past away.

Insect Choreography

Hey world this is a little movie clip we shot in our media studies time, it's sort of like a mini year 6's clip. The song is from Twilight and is sung by Muse. We were also learning how to do choreography and it was quite an experience, the instrumental was a little bit weird but it was okay......... I hope you enjoy this film.

Twilight Eclipse

On a Tuesday on the first day on our holidays my sister and I woke up at 6:30 to go to Sylvia Park Hoyt's for an exciting movie. At first I asked my Dad what time we were leaving and he answered "at about 11;00 o'clock".

So my sister and I had a turn each to have a shower before the exciting movie. When we were ready Emalata rang up and asked if we could changed the place where we were going to meet up. Emalata asked if we could meet at the train station and my sister said "okay".

When we arrived at Sylvia Park we saw Emalata with her older and younger sisters at the train station. We couldn't find a park so we had to park at the top of the parking building. As we were walking down we saw Emalata walking towards us but her sisters were already walking into Sylvia Park.

Finally we entered the Hoyt's Cinema and first we checked what time was the earliest time to watch 'Eclipse', it was 1:00pm and when I looked at the time it was only 12:00pm so we brought our tickets and our food. I got a Twilight Eclipse combo, my Mum and Dad got a large drink and popcorn and my little sister got a Toy Story 3 combo with two chocolate ice creams, 1 for me and 1 for my little sister. Next we went and sat down and waited for the movie to start.

Soon we went into the cinema which was right at the end. When we entered the movie it hadn't started yet.

When the movie started my little sister enjoyed it but when it got to the middle my sister got scared and was covering her ears and wanted another ice cream, so my mum went and got my sister and I a mint ice cream.

At the end of the movie we were walking to the car park and my popcorn flew everywhere, which made a huge mess. I hope we go to the movies again, it was awesome.
