Easter Sunday
As I woke up on a Sunday morning, wondering what time it was I jumped out of bed and asked my Mum “What time is it?” she replied “about 9:30” Uh-oh I forgot about church.
I raced back to my room and scurried through my draws. I was worried that I wasn’t gonna make it to church on time. What to wear, what to WEAR I thought. I saw my jeans put them on straight away. I grabbed a random T-shirt from my draws, I brushed my teeth, brushing roughly, as I did not want to go church with stinky breath.
I zoomed off in a rush to find the brush. I saw the brush sitting on the couch as if it knew I was looking for it and I brushed my hair. I Slapped cream on my face and I took another look at the clock and it was 9:50am. My family and I walked down to church and I just made it in time.
Church was a peaceful time. We remembered Jesus as he died on the cross for our sins. It was an Easter Sunday.
Later on that day I received 7 Easter eggs. Four from my Sunday school, two from my uncle and one from my Dad. I can’t wait for next year.
